A USAID contractor is recruiting the following positions for an ongoing project focused on civic education, citizen engagement and community strengthening:
Grants Assistant: The grants assistant will be based in Nairobi and will assist in activities focused on youth empowerment in Eastleigh and surroundings.
All candidates must speak and write fluent Somali, Swahili and English. Experience working directly with youth at the grassroots level is required.
Candidates must have a solid understanding of Somali culture and customs, and must possess at least one year relevant experience in the administration of USAID or other donor-funded programs in East Africa, preferably in Kenya.
