AAH-I, an international non-profit making agency that implements health and development projects in Africa seeks to recruit a dynamic, innovative, development leader for the position of Public Health Programme Manager for its programme in Southern Sudan.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
· Driving the development of our comprehensive PHC approach within Southern Sudan programme
· Deliver not only on our current projects, but also in the integration process of PHC into our current Food and Income Security and Civil Society projects.
· Provide leadership and technical guidance on project planning, implementation and management of PHC activities.
· He/She will ensure timely monitoring and evaluation, provide technical input in proposal writing, budgeting and budget monitoring
· Be in charge of staff performance management in addition to delivering quality periodic reports that meet both organizational and donor requirements.
Required Qualifications:
· A Master’s degree in health or social sciences with significant experience in public health and development projects management;
· Proven track record of leadership, with at least 5 years progressive senior management experience;
· Demonstrated competence in project development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
· Proven track record in resource mobilization;
· Commitment to promote AAH-I’s Vision, Mission and its strategic goals;
· Inspiring leadership with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
· Proven tract record in people management;
· Ability to work well in a team environment handling multiple assignments with tight deadlines;
· Willingness to travel to project sites;
· Able to cope with demanding work situations.
