We seek qualified candidates for the position of Project Director based in Nairobi, Kenya.
As a member of the management team, the Project Director will provide leadership in respective Division in support of organization’s strategic plan, mission, values, goals and objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for engaging all sectors – public, private and NGO – to deliver high quality services in reproductive health and HIV within the framework of the Government of Kenya and PEPFAR.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensures appropriate monitoring of subprojects to achieve financial, administrative, and programmatic goals & that project resources are utilized in accordance with applicable FHI and donor policies and procedures.
- Ensures production of timely and accurate financial and programmatic reports to FHI, and donors as required.
- Manages the project level information system in order to respond fully to donor reporting requirements.
- Provides technical assistance through the review and/or writing of proposals, protocols, papers, reports to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
- BS/BA and 13-15 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 5-7 years of supervisory experience,
- or MS/MA and 11-13 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 5-7 years of supervisory experience;
- or PhD/MD and 9-11 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 5-7 years of supervisory experience.
- Overseas field experience required. English and Kiswahili language skills required.
