Environmental, Health and Safety Officer Vacancy

Reputable firm in Nairobi seeks to recruit Environmental, Health and Safety Officer

Reports to the Directors

Roles and Responsibilities:


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of DOHSS requirements

  • Staff induction

  • Safety trainings

  • Information dissemination

  • Effluent analysis

  • Waste Management

  • Risk Assessment

  • Pest control

  • Workplace Inspections

  • Statutory and Regulatory license application and reporting

  • Internal Auditing and Reporting

  • Liaison with government authorities and relevant service providers I ISO documentation, development of Quality Procedures

  • any other duties assigned by Management.
Minimum requirements:

  • Bsc. Graduate in Environmental Sciences or Chemical Engineering with 3 years prior working experience in a Manufacturing firm, hands-on experience as a QMR in ISO 9001:2008 certification, a strong Occupational Health and Safety background.
The successful candidate must have a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, good organizational, co-ordination, report writing and analytical skills, assertive and can easily fit into our multi-cultural environment.
