To increase our market share, we are looking to recruit a parts Trainee to join in our successful Parts Department.  

Professional Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering - Automotive
• Purchasing and Supplies or Material Management
• Stock control and stores management

 
 

Skills and attributes

• Demonstrate a genuine interest in automotive industry
• Confident talking to and assisting customers
• Good communication skills
• Willing to work as a team
• Basic computer skills
• Professional presentation and friend manner with a can do attitude

 

Job description

• Learning all aspects of parts department.
• Providing first point of contact for internal and external customers both face to face and over the telephone
• Feed the workshop for the repair of customer vehicles
• Receive and dispatch orders
• Stock location and maintenance
• General warehouse duties
• Identify parts and numbers
• Keeping accurate records on the in house date base for invoicing and replenishment of stock
